While completing her first undergraduate degree in medical science at Brock University, Tiffany took several nutrition related elective courses which piqued her interest in the subject. At the same time, she was competing on the varsity lightweight rowing team where she witnessed firsthand the effects a good nutrition strategy (or lack thereof) could have on performance as well as physical and mental health. This is where her passion for sport nutrition was born. After graduation she pursued further nutrition education through Brescia University College (University of Western Ontario), a masters degree in applied nutrition through the University of Guelph, and the IOC diploma in sport nutrition. Tiffany moved to Victoria in 2020 and currently works as a performance dietitian with the Canadian women’s rugby sevens team, Cycling Canada, and NextGen rowing, but has worked with a wide variety of athletes through previous private practice experience. In her spare time Tiffany continues to row with the local club team, among other outdoor activities including running, cycling, climbing, paddleboarding, surfing, and backpacking.
